Spinal Cord Injury Network PAS Registry - Spring 2005 Cycle Sponsored By Aventist Rehabilitation Hospital of Maryland

Thanks to a generous donation from Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital of Maryland, we are continually updating the PAS Registry. In the spirit of Independent Living, the consumer is responsible for hiring, managing, supervising and terminating providers. Negotiation of schedules, salary, and hours of employment are, as with any employee/employer relationship, arranged by the concerned parties. Keep in mind that the crucial time to discuss schedules, salary, and duties is during the interview process before making a hiring decision. All providers listed on the enclosed registry have applications on file in our office. Consumers are encouraged to call SCI Network [301-424-8335] to review any PAS provider application.

Don't forget that the time to discuss wages, hours and responsibilities is before the hiring decision is made. Providers listed here have attended a brief orientation, but have not undergone any reference or background checks.
